Greg Foutz

Greg began his off-road career by racing motorcycles for two years in 1988. By 1990, he had moved up to mini-pickups with a high school friend in a Ford Courier. Four years later, he made the transition to the Stock-Mini class as full time co-driver for the M&M Motorsports Ford Ranger entry. In his first race, the team garnered a second place.

Greg acquired initial sponsorship from Ford Motor Company in 1996. Ford supplied the Foutz Motorsports team with a Ranger pickup and Greg, and new co-driver, Steve Wheeler, began a successful relationship with the Detroit based company. In late 1997 Greg attended Ford’s Driver Orientation Program in Dearborn, Michigan. Shortly after that, Ford Motor Company supplied the team with a new F-250 Super Duty pickup. The truck was campaigned for the first time in the 1999 Best in the Desert series. The Stock Full truck won the series’ premiere race, the Vegas to Reno.
