What fuels your enthusiasm? I’m interested in improving mileage, functionality, efficiency and performance of my diesel truck.  I enjoy discussing these various topics with others and sharing lessons learned, tips and tricks with others in the sport.  We refer to it as “the addiction”.
What is your ultimate vehicle? If it existed, it would be an ‘06 Duramax/Suncoast V-Allison powered 4×4 Chevrolet Avalanche… with the power of the LBZ Duramax engine, the longevity of a Suncoast V-Allison tranny, and the accoutrements, room, and the Cadillac-like ride that makes the Avalanche the amazing truck it is.  Sadly, such a vehicle does not exist… though I’d just about sell my right arm to have one.

What fuels your enthusiasm? I’ve always liked cars. My dad was a drag racer and Ford mechanic so it started young. Then, I saw American Graffiti and Milner’s yellow coupe and I was permanently hooked. Now, I want my work to be what I love instead of 9-5 to ultimately spend more time with my kids.

What fuels your enthusiasm? Learning about car mechanics and car history and passing that knowledge onto others. Having a classic as my daily driver throws plenty of fuel on the fire as well.
What is your ultimate vehicle? Although she’s still a work in progress, I would have to say my own 1955 Studebaker Champion. Not that there aren’t other cars I don’t admire greatly and would love to add to my collection, I would never want to part with Stude.
What one item in your garage defines your personality? My “garage” really isn’t my own. I work on Stude at garage’s of my friends. And to me, that’s been one of the best things to come out of driving Stude. Making new friends, spending time together, and working together.
