We Had A Great Time at Holley's LS Fest!
We had a great time at Holley's LS Fest last weekend. Although we had fits of rain on Friday and Saturday, it actually made the autocross competition even more exciting for spectators and competitors! A few drag racers may have even had their eyes opened to the possibility of running their cars for time on tracks that call for left and right turns. One such racer is Brian Nutter, who actually competed in the qualifying event for OPTIMA's Ultimate Street Car Invitational. Not only did Nutter compete, but he ended up with an invitation!
Mark Stielow ended up winning the event, as he did at the Motor State Challenge, but Nutter performed extremely well and will be making his way out to Nevada later this year, to compete in the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational. If you weren't able to make it to Beech Bend for Holley's LS Fest, you can check out our Facebook photo album, which is chock-full of images from the event, with more being added throughout the week.
