We're Looking For A Few Good Batteries
Even though we're in the midst of summer, we can't help but think about the 2011 SEMA show from time to time. After all, it takes months of planning to get ready for SEMA and we're up to our eyeballs in SEMA-related work, as we plan on having a really big presence there this year.
If you've never been to SEMA before, you really need to put it on your bucket list of events to attend. Take the best cars from every car show you've been to all year long and the coolest trucks and racing machines from around the country and throw them into one place...or at least one part of one city. SEMA is HUGE!!! A person can spend three days walking the show and still not get to see everything.
The thing about the SEMA show is that it is an industry trade show, so you have to have some connection to the automotive aftermarket industry (or know someone who does) to get into the show, as it is not open to the general public. If you've never been to SEMA or are interested in returning on OPTIMA's dime, we may be able to help you out.
Last year, we introduced the OPTIMA Batteries Wall of Power, which is a travelling battery hall of fame, showcasing our products and the amazing stories behind them. We've heard some pretty crazy survival stories over the years involving our batteries, so we started collecting some of the most incredible stories and the batteries that went with them, to display in our Wall of Power. Do you have an amazing OPTIMA battery story? Tell us about it at firstname.lastname@example.org and if we think it's worthy of the Wall of Power, we'll fly you out to the 2011 SEMA show, so you can see it in person.
