SVRA Race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway 2015
The Indianapolis Motor Speedway, also known as "The Brickyard" is one of the most-iconic racing venues in all the world. While most fans know it as home to the crown jewel race of open wheel racing in North America- The Indy 500 or NASCAR's Brickyard 400, the track also plays hosts to other events throughout the year. One such race was the 2015 Brickyard Vintage Racing Invitational.
Did you know this world-famous oval track also has an infield road course? Competitors in this incredible vintage motorsports event took full advantage of this wonderful venue and fans of other motorsports races that take place at the track may note cars running the road course, which utilizes part of the oval track, run clockwise, which is opposite of what typically happens at these races.
