DriveOPTIMA at Road America 2018 Photos & Results

Seven stops made up OPTIMA's 2018 Search for the Ultimate Street Car, presented by Advance Auto Parts, with the final location being OPTIMA's home track of Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. A sold-out field converged on this world-class racetrack on a cold weekend in early-October to find out who the final invitees would be to the 2018 OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational (OUSCI) in Las Vegas. The rain held off for Saturday, but Sunday was a different story. However, these events run rain or shine and there were point battles to be decided.

By the end of the weekend, the series crowned champions in six different classes, in addition to those who won their classes at Road America. Invitations were also handed out. Class champions who repeated included Austin Barnes' 2010 Dodge Viper in the RECARO GTS Class and Matthew Scott's 2017 Hyundia Ioniq in the GTE Class. First-time class winners included Dusty Nixon's 1979 Camaro in the QA1 GTV Class, Mike DuSold's 1967 Camaro in the Holley EFI GTL Class, Brian Johns' 1993 Mazda RX-7 in the GTC Class and Eric Sheely's 2018 Camaro in the Franklin Road Apparel GT Class.

Individual class winners at Road America are listed below, as well as a full gallery of images from this event.
