2011 OUSCI Preview - Magnaflow's 2011 Camaro SS

Magnaflow Performance Exhaust isn't just a race event sponsor for the 2011 OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational, presented by KN Filters and Wilwood Brakes, they will be bringing a car as well. Their vehicle of choice is this 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS, which features a 6.2 liter V8, topped by a Magnuson supercharger, pushing output to 550 horsepower and 535 lb.-ft of torque.

 

Suspension upgrades include Eibach Pro-Series S coil-over shocks and sway bars and braking is now handled by a Brembo GT brake package. Pirelli P Zero rubber will be hugging the track in Pahrump, while Magnaflow's Competition Series exhaust system will be providing the soundtrack.

The driver for this SS will be none other than Samuel Hübinette, also known as "The Crazy Swede. " Hübinette is a Hollywood stunt driver and two-time Formula DRIFT series champion, which automatically eliminates both him and the Magnaflow Camaro from contention for Ultimate Street Car honors, but we're still welcoming them to participate on an exhibition basis. As followers of the OUSCI remember, Tanner Foust did the same thing in a Magnaflow-prepared Mustang in 2009 and really put on a show.
