OPTIMA's 6-volt REDTOP battery has a SKU of 9010-044, although some folks mistake that SKU for a part number. Regardless, it's the same battery as our 6-volt REDTOP. That is an SLI (starting/lighting/ignition) battery, which is most-commonly used in older vehicles with 6-volt electrical systems. However, it is also sometimes used in series with another 6-volt REDTOP in 12-volt systems, where the space for the battery is limited and the smaller size of the 6-volt batteries are needed for unique space constraints.
The OPTIMA 6-volt REDTOP with a sku of 9010-044 comes with a three-year, free-replacement warranty in consumer applications. Fully-charged, it will measure about 6.3-6.4 volts and keeping it near a full state of charge whenever possible will maximize battery performance and lifespan.
