Alexis DeJoria Racing Funny Car Paint Job

Alexis DeJoria raced Funny Cars in the NHRA from 2011 to 2017, winning five times and setting records along the way in her Kalitta Motorsports-prepped machines. In addition to her strong performances, DeJoria's Patrón-sponsored Funny Car was known for it's incredible paint jobs, with all kinds of details. We captured images of the car during the 2012 season, which we are sharing with you here today. From airbrushed headlights to ghost-painted tequila honey bees, the car's paint always had incredible detail in it, although it wasn't always easy to see at 300+ mph. Some features, like the underside of the roof hatch, weren't visible at all to most folks. Do you see the bee eyeballs in the skull?
