Are you Ready for Holley's LSFest?

We're just over a week away from Holley's LSFest, which is one of the final regional qualifying events for the 2011 OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational, presented by KN Filters and Wilwood Brakes. Holley always puts on a great event at their home track, Beech Bend Raceway Park, in Bowling Green, Kentucky and it is well worth checking out, even if you're not driving something LS-powered.

 

Drag racing is obviously on tap, but in keeping with the OUSCI format, competitors at LSFest will also make their way through the autocross course and a speed-stop challenge competition. In addition to that, there is a car show, dyno challenge, drift challenge and one of the more unique events you'll ever come across- an engine swap challenge. Last year was the first year for this event and no one knew quite what to expect. However, the outcome was simply amazing- the winning team swapped in a new LS6 engine in just over 30 minutes!

We're giving you a heads-up now, so you can plan to make this event. Do whatever it takes to get down to Bowling Green, even if it means working over Labor Day weekend. You won't regret it. For more information on this awesome event, click here.
