Congratulations to David Brandt on winning the Lingenfelter Performance Design Challenge at the 2012 OUSCI

Year after year, some of the most-amazing cars and the most-well respected builders bring their very best to the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational, presented by Royal Purple and KN. As an important component of each OUSCI, the field is judged on style, design and execution- form in addition to function. This year's top car and the winner of the Lingenfelter Performance Design Challenge was David Brandt's beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Camaro.

Unlike the other competitions in the OUSCI, Brandt's Camaro was the clear choice of the judges, scoring 190 points on a 210-point scale. The next closest competitor was Chris Smith and his 1967 Chevrolet C10 pickup, scoring 174 points. The finishing order for the rest of the field is as follows:
