Corry Weller Sponsored by OPTIMA Batteries in 2013

Last year, OPTIMA joined Team Lucas as a sponsor of their racing programs, including the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. Not only is OPTIMA returning as a series sponsor again in 2013, but we are also signed on to become a co-sponsor of Corry Weller's OPTIMA Batteries/Tilted Kilt Pro 4 Unlimited Truck.

Weller will be running her second campaign in Pro 4 Unlimited, following up her first full season, where she notched two podium finishes in the 15-round series. Even though 2013 will only be Corry's second season in Pro 4, she has extensive off-road racing experience going all the way back to 2001, when she began racing motocross.

After running several seasons of motocross, Weller moved up to Pro/Modified UTV racing in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. Corry captured five victories and a second-place overall finish during the 2010 campaign. The following year, Weller really turned up the heat, winning both the Arizona Lucas Oil Regional Championship, as well as 2011 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series SR1 UTV championship, becoming the first female race to win a series championship in a professional short-course series.

The 2013 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series opens up their first weekend of racing at Corry's home track, Firebird Raceway in Chandler, Arizona on March 15th. See more offroad racing content here.
