There are car events that have been around longer, there are car events that have bigger names, but we're not sure how many out there are actually bigger than Cruisin' the Coast on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Nearly 9,000 cars officially registered for this event, but many folks think twice as many or more actually participate in the cruising that takes place for a solid week. It's not just cruising either. Towns along the a 30-mile stretch of coastal highway host concerts, burnout contests and other events like flame-throwing (we haven't seen flames that big since we shot OPTIMA batteries with flamethrowers at Ox Ranch).
