The 2021 SEMA Show in Las Vegas was the first following the cancellation of the show in 2020 and OPTIMA Batteries decided to do something different. With a focus on outdoor activities, we moved most of our presence outside to the Bronze lot, where the first two days were spent with vehicular displays that drew massive crowds. In other words, we did a lot of burnouts.

OPTIMA Brand Ambassador, James Clay of Bimmerworld, brought their F82 M4 GTMore project car out with the sole intent to put on a burnout show until the tires cried uncle and he did just that. Unfortunately, when one of the tires finally did let go, the departing rubber remains hit a rear shock body, a rear brake line and took some plastic inner fender panels and the rear bumper along with it.

Sometimes there is a price to be paid for smokey burnouts and we're thankful James and the Bimmerworld crew were willing to pay that price for the sake of entertaining the massive crowd that observed it at the SEMA Show. Be sure to watch the video of it in action.
