Drag Racing in Traffic

We love motorsports of all disciplines, especially when they are thrown together. That's exactly what happens at the beginning of every World Challenge Championship sports car race. All of these races take place on road courses, but they all begin with a standing start, which means 40+ competitors are packed in next to each other like sardines and drag race each other into the first turn.

If it sounds like a hairy way to start a race, it is! World Challenge is the only North American sports car series that uses this format for starting a race and we thought it was such a cool concept, that we decided to sponsor it!
