DriveOPTIMA Charlotte 2016 Album Two

OPTIMA's Search for the Ultimate Street Car helps real people in real street cars check off bucket list tracks around the country. One such track is NASCAR's legendary Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina. A sold-out field of some of the world's very best street cars converged on CMS for a weekend of competition that included hot laps in the Falken Tire Road Course Time Trial on the same roval track configuration NASCAR drivers will be running in the 2018 season.

Detroit Speed is just down the road in Moorseville, so it was especially fun for Kyle Tucker to win the GTV class in his 1970 Chevrolet Camaro. Rick Hoback's twin-turbo 1999 Chevrolet Corvette won the GTS class, while Ken Thwaits' 2006 Mitsubishi Evo won the GTL Class and Bryan Johnson's 2013 Camaro won the GT Class.
