Flippin' RVs

If these travel trailers and RVs look like something even Cousin Eddie would thumb his nose up at, you're probably right. Then again, Cousin Eddie might not see the great potential that lies within these vintage RV bodies. The folks at Flyte Camp Vintage Trailer Restoration in Bend, Oregon have made a business out of finding and recovering these incredible time capsules of Americana and our friends at BCII are bringing their stories to TV.

Flippin’ RVs is a new television show about the incredible world of vintage and collectible travel trailers. The show features Justin and Anna Scribner from Flyte Camp Vintage Trailer Restoration in Bend, Oregon and follows this trailer-obsessed husband and wife team around the country as they seek out rare trailers. Once the Flippin' RVs crew finds a diamond in the rough, they bring it back to their custom shop, to meticulously restore some of these beauties to better-than-new condition.

This is not an inexpensive or easy process and we're looking forward to seeing how these vintage homes on wheels come together. We know one thing– for as much is invested in these now pristine trailers, we know the owners don't want to take chances with their auxiliary power sources. Traditional flooded lead-acid batteries can leak fluid that can destroy the great work these restoration artists have performed. Traditional flooded batteries can also vent fumes that are both toxic and flammable- a combination no one wants in their living quarters.

The sealed design of OPTIMA BLUETOP® batteries make them ideal for applications like these, where the new owners want modern conveniences in a vintage wrapper. If you'd like to see Flippin’ RVs, be sure to tune into the Great American Country Channel, starting on March 5th at 8PM Eastern, to get a glimpse into the incredible world of vintage RVs.
