The 2021 Ford Bronco Sport is coming to a trail near you, as Ford is clearly taking aim at a segment of the automotive market that Jeep has had cornered for quite some time. The all-new Ford Bronco Sport will offer a wide array of features and options, including the following:

• 2.3-liter I4 turbo 270HP or optional 2.7-liter V6 twin turbo (310 horsepower

• 7-speed manual or 10-speed automatic

• 100.4-inch wheelbase (two-door) 116.1-inch wheelbase (four-door)

• Crawler gear

• Dana axles with electronic locking diffs

• Sasquatch option with 35-inch tires

• 11.6 inches of ground clearance

• Front swaybar hydraulic disconnect for rock-crawling

• Optional trail management system

• Trail One Pedal Drive automatically applies the brake to prevent the need for left foot braking when rock-crawling

If you are lucky enough to get your hands on one of these new Broncos and plan to do some serious off-roading with it, you'll probably want to upgrade the stock battery, especially if you are going to add significant electrical accessories, like a winch or auxiliary lights. If that's the case, be sure to check out the OPTIMA DH6 YELLOWTOP, which weighs in at about 54 pounds, but offers 928 cranking amps and 72 Ah of capacity. It's designed for both starting and deep-cycle use and is the same battery we put through some absolutely brutal torture tests, so you know you'll be able to depend on it.
