The leather-trimmed seats, dash pad, door panels and center console of John Kundrat's 1964 Chevrolet Corvette are nearly the only parts on this car that Kundrat himself didn't build. In fact, rather than going over everything Kundrat did to this now-pristine C2, it's probably easier to mention the things he didn't do himself. Charlie Minerovic prepped the body for the 1965 Goldwood Yellow paint that Kundrat laid down and that's about it.

The rear wheel wells that were widened by two inches to accommodate 19-inch polished C6 hoops? John did that. The 410-horsepower LS1? John installed that as well. Even the fully-polished exhaust system, featuring oval-shaped pipes for ground clearance and Magnaflow mufflers were installed by Kundrat.

It may not be the most-powerful car in the 2013 OUSCI field, but it's no slouch on the track and will certainly hold it's own in the Lingenfelter Design & Engineering competition. Kundrat's car has been finished for a while now, in fact, he's accumulated well over 50,000 on this rock-solid reliable Y-body. There isn't much sorting out left to do, but we expect to continue seeing Kundrat hitting the track and open road between now and the SEMA Show.

If you'd like to see Kundrat's Corvette in person and you don't plan on attending the 2013 OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational, presented by Royal Purple and K&N Filters, be sure to check out all the past TV coverage for free on the OPTIMA Network on Roku.
