Kyle Newman's '57 Chevy 210 Wagon- an OUSI Preview

As we continue our look at the competitors entered in the 2010 OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational (OUSCI), we take a peek at Kyle Newman's '57 Chevy 210 Wagon. The Newman family has been creating high performance muscle cars through Newman Car Creations since 1992. Their build philosophy is fairly straightforward- "build a frame that will strengthen the whole vehicle and be a sturdy platform for upgraded independent suspension."

The suspension of choice for Newman is that of the Corvette C4. With the C4 components in place, LT1 powerplants and T56 6-speed transmissions usually follow, as is the case with their wagon.
