OPTIMA Unplugged at KOH 2025 powered by Clarios

For the third consecutive year, OPTIMA Batteries invited EV and hybrid 4x4 owners out to experience and explore the OPTIMA King of the Hammers, presented by Ford Performance and the offroad environment in and around Johnson Valley, California. When this event was held in 2024, the Tesla Cybertruck had just started to be available to the general public and only three Cybertrucks made it out to the OPTIMA Oasis.

However, one year later and Unplugged was bursting at the seams with Cybertrucks, including several that were brought and driven by engineers from the Tesla team. The Cybertrucks were joined by a massive turnout of Rivians as well as some Jeep 4XEs and other assorted EVs and hybrids.

This two-day event included morning and afternoon offroad rally events, catered meals, premium campsites and live entertainment from The Spazmatics at the OPTIMA Oasis. All of this was powered by Clarios with a big assist from Renewable Innovations, who brought a hydrogen and solar-powered charging station to keep everyone topped off and ready for fun.
