OPTIMA YELLOWTOP Survives Car Fire

It is a sight no one wants to see, but in the world of motorsports, accidents do happen. In Brian Finch's case, it was a fire that broke out in the Corvette he was driving during the 2011 Motorstate Challenge. While we have been told Brian is fine and the damage was not catastrophic, as you can tell from this picture, his OPTIMA YELLOWTOP has seen better days.

In spite of the damage inflicted on his YELLOWTOP, Brian reports the battery was still functional. We certainly don't recommend that anyone continue to use a battery damaged to this extent, but it's reassuring to know that Brian could still count on it, if he absolutely needed it.
