The schedule for the tenth season of OPTIMA's Search for the Ultimate Street Car, presented by Advance Auto Parts, has officially been announced. While all the tracks should be familiar to at least some series veterans, there are a few tracks that have not been on the schedule for a few years or longer. The iconic street car series is returning to stops at Road America, Portland International Raceway and Virginia International Raceway from last year's schedule. The series will also be returning to some other tracks that haven't been on the schedule quite as recently, including visits to NOLA Motorsports Park (last visited in 2021), Daytona International Raceway (2019), Thunderhill (2015) and Laguna Seca (2014).

The culminating event, the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational, presented by Advance Auto Parts, will again take place in and around Las Vegas, during the SEMA Show and at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on the weekend after the conclusion of the show. As was the case during the 2022 season, several stops on the 2023 schedule will be run in conjunction with SpeedTour, but there will be some notable exceptions.

The Road America event is scheduled to run on the same weekend as the Henry 180 NASCAR Xfinity race. That event will feature the QA1 Autocross on the go-kart track and a full-day road course format on Sunday. The Daytona event is tentatively scheduled to include evening/night sessions for the Falken Tire Road Course time trial and will have a different entry fee than other events. The VIR event will also feature a full day on the Patriot Road Course, but the field will be capped at 50 entries. For those wondering about the sound restrictions at Laguna Seca, that is a pro waiver weekend, with no sound restrictions.

Points for the 2023 season will be based on a competitor's best two finishes in any of the seven qualifying events, as they were in the 2022 season. The schedule is as follows:

Thunderhill March 3-5th
NOLA Motorsports Park March 10-12th
Laguna Seca May 5-7th
Portland International Raceway July 21-23rd
Road America July 28-30th
Daytona International Speedway August 11-13th
VIRginia International Raceway October 6-8th
OUSCI Las Vegas October 31st to November 4th

Registration for the 2023 season will open on December 26th at www.DriveOPTIMA.com
