"How are they going to put a roll bar in that thing?" asked Jimi Day, Race Director for the OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational (OUSCI). Troy Ladd and his crew from Hollywood Hot Rods found a way and the '32 Ford Brookville Roadster pickup they built for Raybestos made it into the 2010 OUSCI. Did it set the world on fire on the autocross? No, but that wasn't the point.

Ladd wanted to prove that you could build a SEMA-worthy hot rod that was more than just a pretty face and capable of being ridden hard and put away wet, when called upon to do so. The Raybestos pickup did just that and it looked really cool doing it!  You can read Hot Rod magazine's write-up on the pickup here.
