Todd Rumpke's 2006 Z06 wins the BFGoodrich Hot Lap Challenge at the 2013 OPTIMA Faceoff

The field was fast at the 2013 OPTIMA Faceoff at Road America, presented by Royal Purple and K&N Filters, but Todd Rumpke's 2006 ZO6 Corvette was the fastest of them all in the BF Goodrich Hot Lap Challenge. Rumpke's Corvette had a proven combination that helped carry builder, Danny Popp, to the 2011 OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational (OUSCI) title and proved to be too much for Popp and the rest of the field to overcome. Rumpke's strong performance in the BFG Hot Lap Challenge helped elevate him into a tie for second place overall, with Stephen Kepler, who finished in third place in his 2013 Nissan GTR.
