The OPTIMA H6 YELLOWTOP comes with a three-year, free replacement warranty for consumer applications, but if you buy an OPTIMA battery directly from us and purchase and OPTIMA Digital 1200 Charger at the same time, we'll add an additional year of warranty coverage to your battery.

We offer to extend the warranty, because we know the single-best thing someone can do to maximize battery performance and lifespan is to keep the battery voltage properly-maintained. For our H6 YELLOWTOP, 100% state of charge will be about 13.0-13.2 volts. The sealed design of these batteries means the chance of acid from the battery damaging your vehicle is minimized. The fact that they are a sealed battery also means we can ship and deliver batteries directly to your door, so you never need to leave your house, until you're ready to change your battery in your VW.
