OPTIMA Batteries has upped the ante in a very significant way in 2014 for their search for the ultimate street car. A brand-new TV series, called OPTIMA's Search for the Ultimate Street Car, will premiere on MAVTV on August 1st at 8PM ET. This TV show will follow the Ultimate Street Car Association as it travels the country, seeking out the very best street-legal cars and trucks, who all compete for a chance to be invited to the 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas and the OPTIMA Batteries Ultimate Street Car Invitational that immediately follows the SEMA Show.

While the first episode introduces new fans to what the series and the search are all about, MAVTV is re-airing the 2013 OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational on July 17th at 8PM ET, to give fans one last look at last year's incredible field of competitors. The new TV series will continue running and introducing new episodes all the way up to and through the 2014 SEMA Show, so be sure to check out MAVTV's upcoming schedule. It's not too late to get in on the action and get your ticket punched to the 2014 SEMA Show and the ultimate showdown of street-legal cars and trucks. The Ultimate Street Car Association will be running at Gateway Motorsports Park this weekend (July 19-20th)* and MAVTV will be there filming all the action for an upcoming episode.
