When it comes to replacement batteries for late model GASGAS motorcycles, OPTIMA Batteries offers a great option in our powerful, lightweight ORANGETOP lithium motorcycle batteries. The vast majority of GASGAS dirt bikes use a QUAD7 ORANGETOP, but you can double check the fitment for your bike with the fitment tool on this website.
The batteries in GASGAS motorcycles are mounted underneath the seat and the ECU, so you'll need a Torx wrench and 8mm socket to get at it. While that keeps the battery out of harm's way while you're riding, it can make it challenging to keep the battery properly maintained when you're not riding. OPTIMA has a solution, with our POWERLINK cable that is included with all ORANGETOP motorcycle batteries.
When you install your OPTIMA ORANGETOP, you can route the POWERLINK cable through the bottom and secure it to the frame rail. This gives you easy remote access to turn the battery on or off, check the approximate state of charge and connect an OPTIMA battery charger to it, if needed.
The Battery Management System (BMS) in OPTIMA ORANGETOP batteries also has our CPR functionality, which automatically turns the battery off and disconnects it from any current draw, if it is getting deeply discharged. This holds enough energy in reserve to get your bike started one more time and get you home safely.
